Fantastic, Rare and Hard to Find Rosenthal Studio Line Crumpled Brown Paper Bag sculpted Ceramic Vase. Designed by the famous pop artist and Finnish designer, Tapio Wirkkala for Rosenthal Studio, Germany. This is the original from 1977, Wirkkala's take on tromp l'oeil, meaning something that is not what it seeks. In this case a brown paper bag.. It has the Rosenthal stamp on the bottom, as shown. Measures about 6" x 4 1/8" x 2 3/4".Outside is matte brown/tan, and the inside is semi glossy gray. Appears to have never been used. Most likely just used as a display piece. Excellent, vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Whimsical and Fun piece! Perfect for your collection or would make a great gift.
